David
Meyer, President and Chief Executive Officer David Meyer, founder and CEO of Mil-aMaX Engineering, played an integral role in the development of this multi-faceted and multi-disciplined organization. His diverse background in industry design, development and test, as well as his ground-breaking insights into a vast array of engineering disciplines, has enabled him to seek and provide solutions for a broad range of engineering problems. David has industry experience in internal combustion engine design with extensive experience in air management and control development and test of compression engines. In his position as a “rocket scientist” at Universal Propulsion Company, he developed sequencing systems, interfacing and business for high performance aircraft ejection seats. He also worked as a designer for General Electric Company and holds several patents in current production. David currently serves in the United States Air Force as a traditional guardsman. He is an Aircraft Commander and Maintenance Quality Assurance Officer flying the KC-135E Stratotanker aircraft and is qualified in several aircraft. His dedicated service during every major conflict and contingency since the early 1990’s, including the most recent “Iraqi Freedom”, has earned him the rank of Major. As a graduate of the University of Illinois, David earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Aeronautical Engineering. Additional educational accomplishments include: Military Undergraduate Pilot Training, Military Officer training, Land and Water Survival, USAF Aircraft Mishap Investigation, NTSB “party” status to commercial mishaps, Aircraft Maintenance and Munitions Officer, Cockpit Crew Resource Management and Operational Risk Management. |

| Andrew
Meyer, Vice President of Engineering Andrew Meyer has been involved in a variety of projects throughout both the aerospace and automotive industries. His work has been revolutionary in developing new systems and processes to help with both initial development and product enhancements. His experience ranges from diesel engine injection systems, turbo charging, emissions, modeling and controls development, vehicle controls architecture, NTSB crash investigation and crash dynamics modeling, machining simulations, mechanical and electrical systems design and manufacturing process improvement. His prior experience has been gleaned from positions with International Truck and Engine Corporation as a Senior Control Systems Engineer, The Boeing Company, Douglas Products Division as an Engineer Scientist, and Aircraft Gear Corporation as a Manufacturing Systems Engineer. Andrew currently serves in the Illinois Air National Guard as an F-16 Pilot as well as the Standards and Evaluations Liaison Officer helping maintain a high level of readiness among the squadron and wing pilots. Andrew graduated from the University of Illinois where he has degrees in both Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering with specialization in control systems. He has also been involved with a variety of automotive and aerospace research projects within the university and in industry outreach programs including vehicle systems development, airfoil design and analysis and the employment of numerical analysis tools for aerodynamic optimizations for automotive and aerospace applications. |
